In the pursuit of authenticity, Daruma Ramen produces flavoursome housemade noodles, soup and chashu pork using specially selected ingredients. Daruma Ramen takes its fragrant, well-loved pork broth and it perfectly matches it with hearty noodles – hot, satisfying and made for slurping.

EVA Check-in is built on sister product EVA Receptionist. EVA Receptionist is already responsible for checking guests in and out of organisations like Kiwibank, Air New Zealand and Fonterra. Designed to meet government health & safety requirements, EVA products provide a secure way to monitor on-site attendance and deliver safety briefings before entry.

The New Zealand Research Information System is the national, online hub of information about the research, science and innovation sector. The New Zealand Research Information System (NZRIS) will hold information about research activity in New Zealand, such as what projects are under way, how they are being funded, what resources are being used, who the experts are in particular fields and more. Project brief

Airways New Zealand engaged Theta to design a new operational application used by Air Traffic controllers throughout the country. The application needed to replaced physical documentation including maps, charts, manuals, emergency process documents, bezel display information and notices that are used in the radar centres and eventually control towers. Designed with Axure RP, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and more.

Project brief

Atrax build products used by 800+ airports, 100+ countries and for 25+ years and one of the products is Scanatrax which is a volume scanner system. ATRAX Scanatrax consists of one or more laser scanners mounted on the rotating beam. When measurement is activated, the laser scanners rotates around the object and produce a result with three dimensions i.e. Height, Width and Length of the object.

Tourism New Zealand

Project brief

Tourism New Zealand works with the tourism industry to positively promote New Zealand internationally. They have a new campaign that is aimed at visitors staying for short periods, booking their own accommodation and arranging their own transport. My task was to create a single page web application that allows users to input information, validate the information and provide meaningful feedback when validation has failed or passed. Display accommodation or transport options to the user based the information entered. Calculate and display either accommodation or transport costs to the user. Tourism New Zealand want the app to have its own distinctive look and feel (whilst still remaining cohesive with the Tourism New Zealand brand).

Hospitality digital ordering.

An existing restaurant/cafe or bar want to improve customer engagement and sales of some of their more unique offerings by providing table ordering via digital devices. Customers will be able to use touch screens at their table or booth, tablet type devices mounted at the bar or their on phones anywhere in at the venue. They require a system that enable customers to easily order and see the progress of their order, view deals and make suggestions.

HappyCentro | HappyCentro Finder

Project brief

The design firm HappyCentro wants an app to show off the work of their designers. This work will be hosted on Behance so the app must consume data from the Behance API.

Integrated with this, there needs to be a Happy Centro Finder, which shows the agencies of HappyCentro across the map in New Zealand.

My role

Front End Developer, UX/UI Designer.

Tools used:

Due to sensitivity data using Google Maps API, the HappyCentroFinder could be private but can put it on public for a short set of time for viewing.
